Why Menu Scout?
The fast-casual category sits in a strange gap. It's faster than a sit-down restaurant but more substantial than a drive-through, and it's where most Americans actually eat lunch on a weekday. The problem is that the existing food directories were built for fine dining, and the existing fast-food apps were built for one or two national chains. Neither does a great job of helping you find a great independent burger spot two blocks from your office or a regional chain you've never heard of in a new city.
Menu Scout was built specifically for the fast-casual and quick-service category. Every restaurant page in our directory includes the menu highlights, current hours, real customer ratings, the address and phone number, and a few sentences of context — what the place feels like, who it's for, what to order first. We index both national chains and the regional and independent operators that actually make a city's food scene worth exploring.
